Taiwanese-American Association of Indianapolis (TAAI) is a charitable, educational and not-for-profit organization.
The purposes of the Association are the following:- To assist Taiwanese-Americans to integrate into the U.S. society;
- To promote interactions among Taiwanese-Americans and improve the general well-being of Taiwanese-Americans in the greater Indianapolis area;
- To foster friendship and understanding between the people of Taiwan and the United States;
- To cultivate understanding and appreciation of Taiwanese heritage thereby enriching the American culture;
- To preserve and enhance basic human rights.
The Association shall not participate in any political campaigns on behalf of any candidate for public office.
The Association shall not carry out any activities that are against the law of the State of Indiana and the Constitution of the United States.
